The General Motors Playwrights Theater (originally airing from 1991 to 1993 on the A&E Network) was an anthology television series that broadcast hour-long adaptations of contemporary romance, mystery, adventure, and social-realist stage plays. Legendary actress Lauren Bacall served as the host.
